Located at the city center of Richmond, Yumo Badminton Centre provides a fun and relaxing environment for players to participate and learn more about the sport of badminton.
Yumo Badminton began in 2005 as a group dedicated to organize various tournaments to attract participates interests from all over lower mainland. As a result of continued motivation and growth of our team, we started our first fully-equipped facility mid-September 2006.
Our mission is to promote badminton in many ways and inspire to provide the best conditions and resources for others to discover badminton as a fascinating sport. We will continue to expand in many areas to help others to get connected and together build more and more interests in making this one of the most popular sport in Canada.

This place changed alot after the reno.. and the Pro Shop relocated also. They move back to a more industrial area and prices for badminton equipments dropped a lot, check them out if any of you are interested, www.yumo.ca
Oh wow this place renovated and its great. It feels cleaner, better and the nets actually stay up now. I think the owner changed because the old man that used to be there is not there anymore. Great change but they've gotta lower their price. The other guys in Richmond is a lot cheaper.
Renovated and clean. This place used to be known as Yumo and has since changed ownership and renamed to Smash badminton.
This place actually renovated and looks fairly nice (except for the washrooms - still the same). The floors are now on hardwood floor which gives more bounce for the new Black Knight courts above. They've also added I think 4 - 5 courts on the other side which is nice except I haven't seen them needing it yet. Overall just cleaner because they were due to be cleaned up and the carpet from before were starting to stink. Price remains the same as before.
washrooms are horrible! i think its time for them to do a renovation.
even the floorings are getting old and needs tape to hold things together!
Place is getting old. For some reason it is freezing cold in her during the winter time. There's limited courts and pleny of places to go in Richmond.
