I made and appointment with them 2 days prior for 4:30 pm. On the day of the appointment, there was no one at the front desk and one of the hair stylist looked at me and told me to sit down. 10 minutes after, still got no help, I told one of them I had an appointment at 4:30, they told me to keep waiting.
4:50 rolls around and I'm still not helped, people who were sitting down before me were being helped. What was the point in making an appointment?
5:10 comes by, still got no service, and one of the stylist is just sitting at the front desk talking to some customers exuberantly in Cantonese.
5:15 and I walked away, went to Aberdeen, went to Zeal hair salon with no appointment, got a cut at 5:30. To add to that, it was one of the best cuts I've had. A shampoo + cut is $24 at 3G, at Zeal it is $35. I'd gladly pay the $11 more to get some decent service. Zeal staff were top notch and customer service driven.
And the piece de resistance at 3G were the hair clippings that were left on the floor. I guess there isn't anytime to keep things hygienic when you run a production line hair shop.

I dined here for a company get-together, and the food was great! There are daily specials written on a chalkboard, and the waiter was well prepared to introduce all of the daily dishes and desserts. All the dishes were prepared to excellent standards and beautifully put together.
The appetizers were abundant, and you can even order any pasta entrees on the menu in an appetizer portion! This is a great way to try different and exciting pastas they had to offer.
One of their entrees, which 2 of us ordered was incredible; it was the 'linguini with clams, fennel sausage, tomato, fresh green chili, and garlic'.
Myself and 2 others had the 'duo of beef', which was a special, and consisted of a beef tenderloin and cheek with a truffle ravioli. It was a very unique and flavourful dish, I would highly recommend it. I've experienced ravioli this good.
Dessert was fantastic, their cheesecake was delightful with a unique mix of mango fruit.
There is certainly a buzz about this restaurant, which is why our group decided to try it. It is a small restaurant, but elegantly designed and maintained. The food is bar none, and the wine list was plentiful, from $55-250 bottles.

If you plan to get your hair cut here, book in advance! There is usually a waiting period of 2 weeks, however the quality of the cut is well priced compared to other Japanese hair salons in Vancouver. The key is to try and book your next cut before you leave. Usually with a higher quality cut you can get away with not cutting your hair again for 5-7 weeks, depending on the person.
Guy cuts are $28, and it includes shampoo and styling. The language barrier if you do not speak Japanese is not as obtrusive as it might be at other places too.

Like the other comments, the place is smaller in size than the other locations, it can be problematic during rush times. Service is good there, and they have additional seating upstairs which could be used for a larger group.

I purchased my Nikon P300 from this store when it first got released. I put it on hold via phone, and my salesperson was helpful to let me try it out along with the competitors (e.g., Canon S95, Olympus XZ-1) when I got to the store.
The P300's competitors were more expensive, but the salesperson was not trying to up sell me. He highly recommend the P300 over the others as the video quality was much better at 1080i, which was one of the major characteristics I was looking for.
Overall my experience was good, again they were the first ones to have it in stock. Futureshop, Bestbuy, etc., did not have the P300 in stock at the time.

Following a bad experience with a hair salon across the street that did not even respect my appointment, I went to Zeal to see if I could get a cut on short notice with no appointment. I told them about my situation, and they were able to get a stylist to give me a cut within 15 minutes.
The hair salon was clean and tidy when I walked in, and immediately I was helped by the receptionist at the front desk. The stylist who helped me, Atsushi, gave me one of the best cuts I've ever had. Shampoo + cut for guys costs $35, and Atsushi took his time and did a very good job cutting my hair. Although his English was not at a fluent level, he understood all my requests.
He walked me to the front desk to pay and out the door after the cut, very professional. I'll definitely be going back to get a cut.
