Now in its 72th year, the Chamber is also one of the most active chambers in the Lower Mainland. Issues that affect the members are of primary concern to the Chamber. It is the members who are the driving force behind the city ? their opinions are extremely important. As an advocate for these members, the Chamber lobbies municipal, provincial and federal governments. Because a united voice has far more impact than a single one, the Chamber is in a position to influence outcomes. Members are encouraged to participate in activities and make their thoughts heard when it comes to improving business opportunities in our city.
