Excellent restaurant. The food and service is great, but I do have to mention that for the portion and price I paid it doesn't fully get you full.

The moment you sit down they give each person a personal cup filled with popcorn. Nice as a bar snack and classy as everybody loves popcorn.

The Montreal deli sandwich is to die for. It's thick with lots of meat that just melts in your mouth but once again the overall portion isn't super filling.

I came here once to return a scarf which was given to me as a gift for my 20th birthday. The staff were all moderately friendly. Except when I couldn't find something I wanted in exchange for the scarf, the manager was extremely rude. At the til, she said nothing - not even a hi. She threw the gift card on the table with my receipt and walked off. At this point, I was more than digusted with her customer service. I told her that her customer service was complete SH*T. How can she treat me with no respect when I'm a customer. I demanded for the name and phone number of her district manager, to which she replied "that's not going to do anything for you." At this point, I told her to ...

This place is really funky I'm talking about the decoration and the music (awesome house and funk). Other than that its pretty much downhill. Oh and the fact they allow reservations which is a good thing.

The service was super slow. I mean the time from sit down to ordering my drinks was like 15 mins. Then from that order to actually bringing the drink was another 10. Then we ordered the food and the food took another 20 - 30 min I lost count. In fact one of our dishes never came but luckily they still made it for us and excluded it in our bill.

Ok maybe it was a Saturday night and they were understaffed. The most unsatisfying part of the experience was that the food was at a C grade. ...

This place is amazing. From atmosphere to service to food. I was choosing a place to go for my anniversary and just randomly picked one out of the Taste of Yaletown restaurants and very glad I picked Hamilton Street Grill.

The place is nice, clean and welcoming. Very warm atmosphere with mid-noise level so it wasn't dead silence but it wasn't blasting with TV or music sound.

The service was excellent. It was all about the timing. Ensuring I was there before bringing my drinks or my food, frequently checking up on everything without being in your face and ensuring your mouth wasn't stuffed with food when approaching with questions. This was a key thing as the waitress paid attention to ...
